Ixtapa Zihuatanejo

If you’re looking for a nice and relaxing place to spend your vacation, come to Ixtapa! You’ll find a very charming, clean, and safe town, with beautiful beaches where you can swim, snorkel, scuba dive, or kayak among other water sports. Or try your luck deep sea fishing!

Everything in Ixtapa is within a short walking distance. Shopping, nightlife, a variety of different priced restaurants, tennis, golf, miniature golf, a bicycle path, a cable car, yacht club, movie theatre and banks, all within a few minutes.

Zihuatanejo (see-wa NA a hoe) is a small and charming town located only 5 miles away down the road from Ixtapa. It offers a wide range of restaurants that serve traditional food. In the bay of Zihua (see-waa) (locals call it that) you will have the chance to walk and shop by the municipal market, fish market and other shopping areas. Each Sunday the town square offers shows that involves costumes and the traditions of the area.
